Why making life too complicated? – Better K.I.S.S.

What is your way of looking at things?
How do you face yourself, your environment and the world around you?
How does it make you feel? Why?
What do you allow yourself to see, feel or drive?
What are your choices?

What is your brain actual doing?
Let’s take you back into a parallel world of your brain, your consciousness and your (re)actions.
Dr. Viktor Frankl, a survivor of the German camps once wrote-

“Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.”

If you realize this,- and it is far more easy than just writting down, reading it – this means you have a choice, in any given situation, thought or event.
Free will exists between influence from outside and how you react.
Imagine a switch with a split second timer between a stimulation and how you respond. Taking a break, a step back and explore your conscience, awareness, experiences and reason. Listen to your understanding, make a decision and act. Do you realize how important and powerful this mechanism is?
A reaction is a free choice. – Decide and chose what you think and how you act.

Now, as I have written before, I believe to grow every day, master every skill, flow or development. So, the moment I ran into this tool, skills, philosophy, I applied it in my life. It improved and enriched my consciousness.
But, then……. is life really this simple? And what does “mastering” mean?

Since ten years we have a Blackbird family in the garden, in the Rotund folia- hedgerow.
The birds nest two, – four time a year. One year we discovered that our Blackbird – girl had hatched and was blessed with a beautiful chick.
We watched, followed, admired and loved every moment of the family.
That spring we went on a short trip with Easter, and when arriving back home the neighbor welcomed us with the happy message that he had trimmed the hedge beautifully.
Immediately I ran to the back of the house and found the nest empty, silent and alone. No chick no blackbird – girl. There, that moment, tears filled my eyes, alone, emptiness, shattered.

How was this possible, being master of the “Response” skill, with full control over my “self”, and still I was torn apart- I felt true pain, sadness and emptiness?
That day I learned, I understood.

Before I dive into my awareness of that day, let me tell you something different.
Jim Rohn, taught me another skill, the following:
If you want something, how do you get it?
How?

Just, ASK.
That’s it; no more, no less.

Slowly, bit by bit, I started to learn, calmly things felt into place and conscious and awareness were revealed.

Do not make life too complicated.
KISS- Keep It Simple Stupid!

Do not always think, doubt, consider, hesitate, object, reject or throw away everything.
In life you do, feel, ask, learn, fall, celebrate, mourn, but you LIVE.

You can be sad, hurt, feeling bad sometimes.
But do not let situations over take you and determine who and what you are.

And while writing this…
She, the little blackbird chick is with me, the girl, in my mind, in my heart.
There is no single week not thinking of her.
Thinking of her makes me sad, hurt, empty and lonely, but as well fills me with joy and hope.
Thinking of her makes me feel alive.
I long for next spring.

Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated.

Today a “new” Blackbird family is nesting in our garden.
Father and Mother are totally busy with preparing the nest and gathering, begging for, food.
    I recognize my Blackbird-girl in her. ヅ

Can’t wait to see and welcome her baby Blackbirds
They are showing and proving me the resilience of nature, life. ❃ ❋ ❀

I agree. How many people have pets that they ignore or leave tied out in the yard. Take time to talk to them and be with them. The will make the best and most loyal companions if you let them. If a person has not had time to sit down with the cat for 3 or 4 days, they are simply too busy for their own good. Someday we will all face death, and what we do today will determine is we have regrets or not!
