He is everybody’s favorite furry red monster with his high pitched voice and a contagious giggle. Enthusiastic, friendly and cheerful, he always wants to be part of everything that goes on. His attitude is very positive with an optimistic view of himself and life. His loves goes to his pet fish Dorothy and his favorite food is wasabi.
His spirit, ambiance and presence accompany me in many business meetings. ELMO!
Maybe from time to time in your business life-
you and your party:
• Are entangled in heavy enthusiastic discussions, starting to run off track
• Allowing one individual taking over the whole meeting
• Went in a situation where the same points are made over and over again
• Where something in general went too long, boringly
• Are stuck in a topic, are tunnel-visioned and wasting time.
Then E.L.M.O. can come along and is a very handy trick to intervene.
As an acronym our beloved Muppet stands for “Enough, Let’s Move On”.
ELMO the situation-
Commonly acknowledge that the point has been made and get everyone back on track- Move on!
Nowadays ELMO is even becoming part of my daily life and environment.
Something you get the feeling that:
You are stuck, lost track of the BIG picture and lost focus? Searching over and over what is really important in life and idling?
You can’t make a decision; have too many choices and people around you have an opinion of what is best- for you? Your mind is lost in priorities, purpose and reason?
Then- Embrace… ELMO.
Enough, -grab yourself together- and Let’s Move On.
